Hello Everyone:

Taoseños for Real Traffic Relief (TRTR) continues to be committed to making
sure as citizens that we will always have a voice in decisions made about
our community. Specifically, we are working with our local government, NMDOT
and various agencies and organizations to address the serious and hazardous
road conditions in and around Taos.

TRTR has requested that members of our group as well as other interested
citizens in the community be included in all engineering studies where
current and future road projects are being proposed. We will be forming
smaller committees to address specific roads and to work with the folks that
live on those roads who, after all, will be the most impacted by any
improvements, changes, or lack there of.

WE NEED PEOPLE LIKE YOU TO GET INVOLVED IN ONE OF THESE COMMITTEES! TRTR
will coordinate these committees and assist each group in developing a
petition that emphasizes safety for all who use a particular road, including
cyclists, pedestrians, and motorists.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday May 8th at 6:30pm. (THANK YOU TO THOSE
WHO RESPONDED TO MY LAST EMAIL). Please contact me via email or by phone at
751-7230 if you are able to come or have questions. I will be sending
directions to our home to those planning on attending.

Together we can have a voice in local government and help determine the
future of the landscape here in Taos.
