Drive fuel efficient cars, get the town and county to put together a
public transportation line. The Chile Lie covers the town but does not go
up Kit Carson to the bypass, Blueberry Hill Rd is not included, etc.

Insist on organic foods, no GMO's and promote local farmers/ranchers to
local markets. Agri-business uses more oil than transportation.

FInd the funding for solar generating power on all buildings in Taos and
everyone stays on the grid.

Bits and pieces here and there will help elleviate (postpone)the collapse
 of the US.

CONSERVE! Let's try and not be so greedy with everything.

I see mongo-trucks being driven around town and nothing, nothing is in
these vehicles except for the driver - and they are always clean and tidy,
like every (b)ummer which owners won't take off road - ever.
