We have had an approximate  25% increase on the price of gasoline in the
past 6 weeks.

(Went from $2.28 to $2.98.)

Thanks, greedy bastards.  I keep suggesting that the gummint should
nationalize the oil companies, but then remember that the gummint is owned
by the oil companies.  Something is very backwards here.

Last week a (b)hummer owner whined that they couldn't afford the gas to go
to Santa Fe and back and had to stay in Taos.  Too bad, so sad.  Calling
(b)hummer/SUV owners morons only insults real morons.
