Anyone want to bet as to how soon the rest of the trees on East Kit Carson
are going to be taken down?

My bet is that as soon as a tree "surgeon" can be hired and paid for, all
the trees up to Dolan will be removed as quickly as possible.

That stretch of Kit Carson was, not so long ago, one of the most
beautiful streets in Taos.  Now it's gutted and getting uglier.  The
non-existent sidewalk on the south side of the road, particularly in front
of La "Buena" Vida, is dirt and rock and asphalt slag and a high curb.
Dangerous to walk on that side.

The curvey sidewalk paid for by worrell is not really useable for biking,
and stupid for walking the dogs.  But worrell got his way on that miasma
of "shouldn't have taken the brown acid" designer.


Folks living on the side streets might want to take note as well.  All
those dangerous trees may come under the chain saw.
