Karl Rove visits city on Saturday

Republicans revere him. Democrats love him. And he's headed to New Mexico 
this weekend.
Karl Rove, a GOP political strategist and deputy chief of staff and senior 
adviser to President Bush, will be in Albuquerque on Saturday to attend a 
private luncheon for New Mexico Victory 2006, a White House spokesman 
confirmed Tuesday.

Victory 2006 is the get-out-the-vote arm of the Republican Party, and a 
state GOP news release offered no additional details about the event.

Rove focuses on Republican politics, fundraising and "big picture thinking" 
as the November elections approach, according to an Associated Press story.
