About CNA	English (USA)
The Council of Neighborhood Associations (CNA) is an informal council made up of representatives from about 35 Taos County neighborhoods. It serves as a grass-roots forum to exchange information and discuss issues of concern to neighborhoods. The main concept is that due to geographic separation, limitations in public information sources, and other factors, people may not know what is going on in other parts of the county. The monthly meetings of the CNA and this mailing list offer a way for neighborhood representatives, community service organizations, and other interested parties to exchange information. The neighborhood representatives then take this information back to their own associations for dissemination into the community. The CNA operates on a consensus model when it comes to voting on an issue, with two votes allotted to each neighborhood association. Discussion, and participation in the meetings, is open to all, however. The CNA also operates an informational Web site. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the CNA Archives.
Using CNA
To post a message to all the list members, send email to cna@laplaza.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to CNA
Subscribe to CNA by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
